Alexander is currently a first year faraday affiliate chemistry PhD student working at the university of Birmingham under the supervision of Dr Phoebe Allan and Prof Peter Slater.
He graduated with a master’s in Chemistry from the University of Birmingham.
Alexander’s masters project was in using zeolites as a structural directing agent to create magnetic nanoparticles for the use of clearing nuclear waste.
His PhD project is on the recovery and rejuvenation of anode material from lithium ion batteries using ultrasonic vibrations under aqueous solution.
